Meet Our Founder

Rachel A. Gentry, Esq. - Founder & Principal Consultant

Rachel A. Gentry, Esq. is a licensed attorney, military veteran, and policy professional with experience spanning law, regulation, and consulting. She earned her BA in Sociology from Louisiana State University (LSU), a flagship institution known for academic excellence and one of the most prominent athletic programs in the NCAA (SEC). She went on to earn her JD with a Public Law Certificate from Southern University Law Center (SULC), a distinguished HBCU law school recognized for academic rigor, its contributions to social justice, and its role in preparing attorneys across Louisiana and the nation.
Rachel’s career reflects her deep commitment to public service and policy. She has worked at the Louisiana State Capitol, contributed to higher education policy with the Louisiana Board of Regents—including playing a role in the breakthrough of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) policy—served as a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Fellow, and later worked in regulatory oversight at the Federal Reserve.
As an avid sports enthusiast and lifelong learner, Rachel connects the principles of competition, discipline, and teamwork to her consulting approach. Through Gentry Elite Consulting, LLC, she leads with integrity, innovation, and results, helping clients thrive across business, law, politics, and sports.
